Topshop came out in top form for their Topshop Unique Spring/Summer 2016 Collection. Described as “the place where old and new collide”, this quintessentially ‘Brit-to-the-bone’ collection combined the best of feminine wear with statement details, some garden party flair, masculine vibes, romanticism and classic British wear (think city-boy pinstripes). Topshop has reinvigorated the 80s classics for a collection that’s breezy and relaxed with sensual delicacy.
The who’s who of British fashion flocked to the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster, London which saw everyone on their top style game. Anna Wintour, Alexa Chung, Cressida Bonas, Suki Waterhouse, Ciara, Jourdan Dunn, Poppy Delevingne, Leigh Lezark, and Erin O’Conner among others, were seen in their Topshop best, some even sporting their own pieces from the Topshop Unique collection.
Embrace youthful prettiness in all its glory with clothes that wrap, drape and slide. From day wear, to night wear and some surprises in between, Topshop reiterates; it’s Topshop or no shopping.
A highlight for the unique
First launched in 2001, the brand’s latest offerings encompass everything you must-have in your wardrobe for the season. Tea dresses, check. Bold layer-friendly pieces, check. Chic separates, check. Rebelliously stylish finds, check! Feminine allure, check and check. If comfort is key this time around, then we are positively sold on investing in this cosy collection.
For the beautiful British rebel
These easy to wear styles have all of us excited. The colonial influences and old-school silhouettes gel well for the modernist and comes complete with androgynous blazers, for those power dressing work days. This London Fashion Week highlight is due to launch right here on home ground at Topshop Suria KLCC in February 2016.
